Recently I've started sleeping with a silk eye mask. It's soft on your eyes and blocks out the light coming through the windows in the morning or late evening. This sleep improvement is right up my ally!
One thing that will help me get to sleep at night is not playing video games on my phone right before bed.
Recently I've done quite a few things to improve sleep:
Added blackout curtains to my window
Made it an effort to be in bed by or before 9:30 each night
Meditate for at least 10 minutes to help me fall to sleep
It's all been helping quite a bit. Regular and good sleep is so important to overall health.
What I have done to improve my sleep:
Bought new sheets and pillows
I also got a sleeping eye mask to block all the light
I started reading every night for 15-30 min
Drinking a glass of water before going to bed
It has improved my sleeping so much!
A couple things I have done to help improve my night time sleep. I've been walking more as well as:
Be exposed to lots of natural light during the day
Cut down caffeine consumption
Cut down alcohol consumption
Be consistent on your sleep schedule (wake up/go to bed at the same times)
Manage the temperature in your bedroom
Engage in calming/relaxing activities before bed (bath, meditation, read)......I read to my kids before bed and have a soft himalayan night light.
Thank you!
I sleep with a diffuser with relaxing lavender and stress relief. I have black out curtains, sleep with a fan on, and I go to bed the same time everyday. I do not believe in TV's in the bedroom. I have started reading a book before bed. I have children so I am trying to be a good example for healthy sleep habits.
I bought a diffuser with lavender & eucalyptus oil, and put one in my boys room as well. I also changed my curtains and bought new bedsheets and comforter. My favorite is the comforter. :)
I turn off phone and computer 1 hr before bed time. I also eliminated TV late night and no lights. Getting much better sleep...
