1st Spot filled :) - CONNECTED WITH A FRIEND: I have a dear friend that I don't talk to as much as I should. We set our alarms this morning and enjoyed an hour-long phone conversation over our social-distanced coffee date. We also made plans to get together for some girl time together next time I'm back in my hometown, so YAY!
I completed 2 items so far today: "Treated myself" and "Set a goal for myself"
1) I treated myself to my favorite coffee from Dutch Bros this morning. It's almost gone already and it has me very energized and ready for Monday!
2) I set a goal to have my bedroom decluttered by Sunday! Having a decluttered space always helps me feel relaxed.
Completed my own self care activity! Hair treatment, and a Lip plumper!! :) Did a face mask too, but didnt want to scare you with that picture. Rather make you laugh!!
This morning before work i Decluttered my space. I went through my closet and got rid of three trash bags of clothes I no longer wear. I did this to make it easier for me to find what to wear, it will make my mornings easier and feel good to look at a less cluttered closet.
Last night, I got my Kindle Unlimited subscription back and read a few chapters out of a book I have been wanting to read before bed. I always fall asleep faster after I read!!
I am reading Feedback, to bring another level of review and employee engagement training. 7 ways to lead, which I have a call with the author to design a leadership seminar for our staff. I get to cover work and self-care at the same time.....
If water is needed to make the coffee, does drinking coffee all day mean I stayed hydrated???? It doesn't??? Darn!!! You guys are doing amazing with this one!!!
I went to the gym today for an hour. My goal is an hour a day for at least 4 days a week. The gym has a 100 day sign in sheet so today was day 6 for me. I must say I still dislike working out and am sore all over everyday, but I'm gunna stick it out and hope for results in the 4 months I've committed to.
On Monday, I deleted Facebook and I have been taking a much needed break from social media. It has been great to focus that extra time with my family. It also helps not to see the constant negativity in the world lately! I definitely won't be re-downloading this anytime soon.
Last night the family cuddled up on the couch with sliced apples and pears and watched "We can be heroes" on Netflix... I wanted to watch Mulan but i was out voted. #Bingo

The end result was nice, but the silicone lip patch kept sliding off. It was hard to not talk for 20 minutes. My family loved it!
